Hi, I've been thinking about this for a while! Since type C is the new colloquial cable used in almost every device, and even charge blocks have USB Type C cables only as well, it would be much appreciated to have this as an option instead of the traditional USB 2.0 that we are used to, also, this might make charging of soundbrenner devices much more efficient. I used an oulet hub to charge my core and eventually the cable broke to the point where the cover that protects the USB side, literally melted and I couldn't charge my Core anymore. The left is our traditional cable, and right is the USB type C cable.

Hi Mark, thanks! I am personally not a fan of the old USB either but for logistical reasons and cost reasons we can't include a charging brick and not everyone has a USB-C outlet yet. However, I believe at some point in the future we will be able to make the transition to USB-C cable as the default as more and more people have a USB-C charging brick! Thanks for your suggestion, I upvoted

(In the meantime I would suggest to use a adapter such as this https://www.amazon.com/Syntech-Adapter-Thunderbolt-Compatible-MacBook/dp/B07CVX3516
There is now a USB-C charging cable available for purchase on soundbrenner.com https://www.soundbrenner.com/products/charging-cable-usb-c - enjoy! It's also already on Amazon.com I believe
