With the click of a button you get a unique link that you can send around. Once the link is clicked on a mobile device, the Soundbrenner app automatically opens and will add the song or setlist to the library.
There needs to be a simple, free way to do this, even it is a simple file export / import. Cloud subscription requirements is ridiculous if you have paid for a Pulse or Core.
Right now we are planning that most likely sharing songs & setlists will be free for everyone 👍(unlike automatically syncing cloud backups)
I agree with Ebranas; exporting files to other devices should be a basic, free function! I understand that running your own cloud service costs money and you'd need to charge for this. However, for iPhone users this argument does not hold - supporting iCloud backups would be very nice, so we can backup our app data and share amongst other devices - quite basic functionality, nowadays! On the other hand, I fully agree that suddenly having to pay for removing a limit for the amount of songs/setlists you can store in the app (a limit which didn't exist before the Core came on the market!), is seriously ridiculous. This does not have anything to do with cloud functionality, so that argument does not hold either!

This feature will release on iOS later this week. We are also working on bringing it to Android devices down the road.
Please add to Android.
Happy to say Android is in progress :) UI & technical specifications are already finished and code is written right now.
So excited for being able to export/share songs and playlists in Android....Will it be ready in the next few days? Much needed for a gig next weekend. Thanks!
Hey, right now the ETA is end of January but it could be pushed back in case it takes longer than expected. Sorry it won't be in time for your gig! It is a quite complicated feature to build :) Cheers,
Thanks for the update!
thought i'd seek clarification on this before I spend the next several hours re-enteing songs and setlists into a new android tablet... So, I get that there is no cloud sync on an android, but is there a way to manually export from an ios device and then import them into android?
Hi John, no currently there is no way to transfer the songs and setlists from iOS to Android, but there will be at some point in this quarter. So either you have to wait a couple more weeks or if you need to do it now, then it will have to be manual. Sorry I have no better news on this as of today! Cheers
So.. i've changed my phone to another (with android on both). Is there a way to export my songs to the new device??
@Arkadiusz: not yet, but soon... sadly you'll have to wait a few more weeks, we are currently beta testing this feature
Looking forward to this on Android! You know what would make it even better? Being able to create/import/export the library to a spreadsheet. Wowsers! I'd happily pay for that feature!
@Clmerkurtz check this out https://suggestions.soundbrenner.com/10
Hello! We are excited to launch this feature to Android today. You can how create sharing links for songs and setlists. This feature is free. Sharing links can be opened in our app on both iOS and Android :)
