Separate tracking for multiple instruments

It would be nice to be able to track practice time for individual instruments. Right now I don't want to track my time for my second instrument because it messes with my tracking for my primary instrument. But I also really want to know how my time relates to progress with my new instrument. Etc. thank you!

Hello, you can already select instruments and then see practice time by instrument in the charts. What else do you have in mind?

Actually, I wrote into support with a very similar request. If you look at the way it is currently tracking, all the metrics are lumped together to form your Practice Level. Yes, you can pull stats for instruments but, in the widgets you cannot separate out the instruments to show whether or not you have practiced an instrument on a particular day. I've written an extensive comparison in the past week about this. You can check out a trial of Andante's practice tracking app to see what is meant here.

Could you email some screenshots to florian@soundbrenner.com (and/or your support request). Happy to take a look. - I think having separate practice levels or streaks per instrument is probably hard to justify to build considering the majority of useres only practice 1 type of instrument (of course I understand in an ideal world this should be possible) - However, updating the widgets to be able to select for which instrument a particular widget shows the data is definitely doable

I made this design and added a developer ticket to build this for now - but I cant promise how soon it will be ready

English translation: Separate the total practice time by instrument. Example: 1,200 total hours, with 600 on cello and 600 on guitar. It would be a good feature to show where we dedicated ourselves the most at the end of the year.
