Dear friends of Soundbrenner, thank you for your very informative but unfortunately not very encouraging answer to my problem. Main Stage is a software offshoot of Logic Pro X. I work with Logic in the studio and as a sequencer DAW it would also be possible for me to play the MIDI data for my click tracks synchronously with the audio files of the playbacks. MainStage, equipped with the architecture and modules of Logic, was specially developed for live use. It is very reliable and we have been working with this program for a long time. Now it does not have a sequencer function, i.e. you can cascade the playback plug-in with numerous audio WAV/AIFF files without any problems. And when grouped, they run synchronously and can also be given different routings. But unfortunately synchronous playback is only possible for audio and not for audio together with MIDI. I'm honestly a little surprised that there is no way to trigger your metronome using audio for such a common use of DAW in live music. I think your very innovative approach to a metronome that doesn't torture your ears but gives the body's inner pulse the necessary rhythmic security through vibrations is simply fantastic. It reminds me of my violin lessons as a nine-year-old boy, when my violin teacher would gently tap me on the shoulder for quarter notes while I was playing so that I could keep the tempo and orient myself rhythmically. Well, that's a shame, but maybe I've inspired something? 😉In any case, thank you again for your answer.
