Would you consider adding a tally counter on the app player page? It'd be very helpful to keep track of how many times we've practiced something. It can increase by 1 each time you tap it and long press to reset to 0. Thanks so much!
Hi Jack, thanks for your suggestion. What exactly should it count though? Number you pressed play & pause? Number of bars played since the start of the session? Number of minutes you played? We are about to release this feature soon to count bars & time (either of your full app session, or your current playback).https://www.dropbox.com/sh/r0illdzj1kbxsz0/AADoao9d5RNjplS06C_yp8JMa?dl=0
Actually none of them. It's just a tally counter. I want to use it to help myself keep track of how many times I've practiced something. For example, sometimes I wanna make sure I've practiced a passage for 7 times without mistakes before moving on. I have to keep the number of times played in my head. It would be helpful to have a tally counter on the Player page where each time I play the passage I can tap it to increase the count by 1. When it hits 7 I know I'm good to move one. Hope that makes sense?
Hi Jack, thank you, it does make sense. So basically in our upcoming "Stopwatch" feature you'd not just want an option to count bars, or the time, but instead the number of playbacks. Got it!
Changed the title from "App: counter" to "App: playback counter"
I'm not familiar with the stopwatch feature, but I wonder if we're still not on the same page lol I was not talking about a playback counter. I was talking about a way to manually keep track of how many times I've practiced something on the keyboard (instead of the app automatically counting how many times a rhythm has been played back - often times I keep the metronome running nonstop and repeat the passage I'm practicing on the piano). It would work like this: I start the metronome at 60, the counter shows 0, I practice my passage, tap the counter to increase it by 1, practice again, tap the counter to increase it to 2, etc. After it hits 7, I long tap it to reset it to 0. The whole time the metronome runs at 60 like a mechanical metronome, no interruptions or playback. Hope this long post makes sense lol
Hi Jack, yep no worries Iunderstood you correct then :) Cheers,
