Have ability to turn off tap tempo control

When i try to get it to play or pause, i often am accidentally changing the tempo. I would like to turn off the ability to tap tempo.

This is already possible on Pulse via interaction lock. Are you using a Core? Core can also trigger playback with the button, maybe that helps?
