How about working with them so the metronome feature syncs with theirs?
Changed the title from "Guitar Pro" to "App: Guitar Pro integration"
Please Soundbrenner add this feature!
Merged "Add Connectivity with Guitar Pro 8" #462
"Hi! As a guitarist who owns a Pulse, I really enjoy practicing my chops and timing on the Pulse metronome. It’s different and I believe the tempo and tightness is sinking even more in my brain and muscles since I have to feel the tempo instead of hearing it (I was feeling it also on a audio metronome but it’s not the same). Now, as a guitarist who uses Guitar Pro 8 to follow exercises in my practice routine (Frank Gambale Chops Builder or John Petrucci’s Rock Discipline, for example), I would really, really love it if I could sync my Pulse with the Windows App or the iOS app to feel the tempo from Guitar Pro on my arm. That would be a huge feature add! Just like the Pulse can connect to a DAW, I believe many of us musicians would greatly enjoy having the possibility to connect the Pulse or other Soundbrenner devices to other applications and programs. Cheers!"
I whole heartedly agree! This would greatly enhance the soundbrenner's experience!
Feedback from one of our affiliated artists: " I still can't help but think how powerful the Soundbrenner would be should it be able to function with the Guitar Pro software. I truly think that it is one missing link for the Core 2 for all guitar players. I work with a couple hundred new students every year (Ive taught almost 2,000 in the last seven years) one on one that and Guitar Pro is at the center of our workflow. It would be so amazing to link the Core 2 to Guitar Pro. That would be incredible and I think is something that would be really beneficial to so many! It's something I'd really recommend looking into for Soundbrenner."
Integration with guitar pro would sell many more devices as it is the main reason I use guitar pro is for timing.
Since guitar pro has a metronome with variable measure count in, if phone app could hear metronome and sync that would be full integration especially made easier as the bpm is known.
