It would be nice if we could have a setting in the app and a menu on the core steel to enable us to lower the vibrations strength. I find it sometimes distracting and cumbersome to have only one strong setting. Plus having a lower vibration setting available would mean a longer battery life. A menu options to be able to simply turn off the feature that makes the core display light up every time it senses motion is disturbing during the night since I kind of toss and turn often and having to hit a button on the core to turn the lit display is annoying.
Hi Pierre, thanks for the suggestion. 1) Are you aware a vibration menu already exists? You can go to Settings -> Select your device -> Metronome vibrations and customize. If you know about that, why is that not sufficient? It seems it has multiple weaker vibrations. 2) In the same place you can display "Wake display on wrist raise" this should prevent the display from turning on when you mvoe around the device
Hi Florian. Even at the lowest setting (see attached picture), it feels too strong for the vibration setting. After a while, I get lasting tingling sensation in my left wrist after some time. I even got numbness feeling in my left hand. I would like to reduce the vibration strength even further than what is already available. I didn't know about the lights setting since I didn't update the firmware. Now it's up to date. Thank you for the pointer. Have a nice day!
Hi Pierre, OK thanks for the feedback! I find the "Weak" vibration is quite weak and am a bit surprised you find it still too strong, but if that is the case we can definitely look into maker an even weaker option available. Just to 100% confirm, are you sure in "Metronome" you are using the 1st accent marker that actually uses this "weak" vibration? In case you are not aware you can tap on the accent markers in "Metronome" and they will change and trigger the different type of vibrations/lights/sounds.
Yes, an option to be able to gradually go to zero strength would be helpfull. The setting I use is the picture I attached to this message.
Hi Pierre, your screenshot is from device settings and shows which vibrations are assigned to an accent marker. However, outside of settings in "Metronome" you can set the accent marker that should be used for each beat so you need to make sure you are using the 1st accent marker to which you have assigned the weak vibration. Regarding a "fading out", in Metronome there is also a button "..." that you can press. There is a setting called "Song duration" where you can let the metronome end automatically after a certain number of bars. Fading out is a interesting suggestion in its own right
Voting for dialing to adjust the strength of the vibrartions down to zero.
