Hello, My name is Saygıner, and I am a psychiatry resident physician working at a university hospital in Turkey. I am currently conducting an academic research project focusing on timing and rhythm perception. For our study, we plan to use a metronome-based task in which participants synchronize their taps on a touchscreen with an auditory metronome. I have been exploring different metronome applications and found your app to be particularly strong in terms of timing stability and usability. I wanted to ask whether you would consider (or already support) a feature that could be extremely valuable for research and clinical use: Recording users’ touchscreen taps with precise timestamps (millisecond resolution) while the metronome is running Allowing these tap data to be exported in CSV or Excel format (Optionally) Providing calculated timing deviations between the metronome beats and user taps Such functionality would allow your app to be used not only by musicians, but also in academic and clinical research on time perception, motor synchronization, and neurocognitive processes. I believe this could open an additional research-oriented user base for your application. I would be very happy to share more details about the study design or usage scenario if this would be helpful. Please let me know if such features already exist or if they might be considered in future development plans. Thank you very much for your time and consideration. Kind regards, Saygıner MD, Psychiatry Resident Turkey
