Enable iOS Side-by-Side on iPad (Split view)

Please update the app to enable opening it beside, or as a slide over, with another app. This way the app can be seen on the same screen with the music being played.

Hi Kenneth, you mean on iPad or on iPhone? I think Apple only supports this on iPad and it probably works out of the box without us having to do anything. Have you tried it on your iPad?

You think!!! You should know before replying. Yes I've tried it on my new iPad Pro! Which brings up another issue. The app needs to be able to work in both portrait and landscape mode on the iPad.

Hey Kenneth, you are right! I just tried it out on my iPad and it did not work. I have asked our team to investigate if we can make this happen. Regarding landscape mode, this is a pretty significant development effort but a common feature request. Hey Kenneth, the team got back to me and researched this. They found out that in order to enable splitscreen mode our app needs to support landscape mode first. So this is something for the future. From Apple: "Note: Apps are required to support all screen orientations if it supports multitasking. Otherwise, apps will get the following error on publishing: Invalid Bundle. iPad Multitasking support requires these orientations: "

Just upvoted. I had subscribed to Soundbrenner because I used this feature on an Amazon tablet. I need metronome on the left and my lyrics/song notes on the right during gigs. I've since bought an iPad and can't split screen Soundbrenner so I have to switch metronome apps and cancel my subscription.

Hey, we are working on it but it is a massive project as it affects every single screen accross the whole app. We are working on a massive update for the metronome UI that will bring split screen as well as landscape mode.
