DAW support

Please bring back the DAW synch. Being a band that plays symphonic metal/rock this was an essential thing for us to use as we have samples and keys to work to. Removing this feature has made it difficult for us now.

Hey! I just wanted to share the reasons why I decided to discontinue DAW sync / MIDI support. 1) It does not work great right now. Every DAW has a different issue. There are so many combinations of iPhone/Android + Mac/Windows + Logic/Ableton/Pro Tools/etc. that it's extremely difficult to make all these combos run properly (probably impossible) 2) The feature has a poor UX, meaning, every time you want to practice you have to perform a set of complicated steps to get going with Bluetooth + MIDI connection. This is a lot of friction you don't want every time you practice. 3) As a result of 1+2, just not that many people use the DAW/MIDI feature more than once. It's rare to find anyone who habitually uses it. 4) The customer support is very high effort. It requires specialized knowledge about all the DAWs, their connection process, troubleshooting plus maintaining a range of how-to guides that constantly need to be updated as platforms/DAWs make changes. Most of the time we still can't help customers and they're just frustrated after a long troubleshooting process. So overall from my point of view: We have a feature that inherently does not work reliably, that is annoying to use regularly and that few people use. So we finally made the decision to instead use the time and energy that went there and put it into features of our app that have a chance to be really great, and that the majority of our users actually will use. For example, we will launch in 2026 song sections with mid-song changes for BPM, time signature, etc. and more! However, with all that said, I understand for some people it was valuable (or would be valuable in the future) and I am happy to keep this thread around and see the upvotes and comments it gets! Just wanted to be transparent about this decision, which was also controversial inside of our company because we really would have loved to make this feature great!

Please bring back at least basic support. I used MIDI to sync the clock from Logic to trigger up the metronome. This used to work. Now the MAC does not see the iPhone as a MIDI device. Without this support the device is useless to me (or devices, since I have two). I am certainly never going to purchase or recommend another Soundbrenner product after this rug pull. In fact, I will activel disrecommend.
