Back
I have mentioned this before, but in compound time (for example, 9/8), the bpm should be measured in dotted crotchet (dotted quarter note) beats. At the moment, if I want to realistically 'play back' 60bpm, I have to multiply by 3 to take account of the three quavers (3 1/8 notes) in each beat. It's ok, but it's clunky and other metronomes do this much better. Please fix this.
Hey, we are working on updates to the metronome that will support this. When selecting a 9/8 subdivision you have the option to change the bar subdivision from eight notes to dotted quarter notes, which will then show only 3 beats/accent markers. Unfortunately this is part of a broader rebuild of the metronome and is still a few months away, but rest assured its in the works!
