Change the metronome mark unit value note value

Not all metronome marks are quarter notes. We should be able to change that to an eigth note, dotted half-note, etc.

Hi Christian, can you elaborate a bit? Right now you can adjust the time signature from /4 to e.g. /8 and then the subdivision options will automatically adjust to reflect e.g. eight notes

When most times when the sheet music displays the numerical value of beats per minute, it also has a note equaled to that amount of bpm. We should be able to change that note

Hmm I'm afraid I can't quite follow! Maybe you can snap a picture of the sheet and attach it to this suggestions thread?

Very good idea indeed! If you could at least choose between quarter or eight notes, that would make a difference

Correction: I think it is called the tempo's "unit value" or something like that which is what I am referring to

Add half notes and dotted halves to available subdivisions. Many 3/4 songs time signatures are denoted by the time given to a dotted half.
