I would like that there would be a landscape orientation on a dedicated iPad The Metronome App.
I have been requesting this feature for a while … hope this will be implemented soon as I am using the app with other apps that run in landscape mode so it will be easier for me with the way which I use it. Thank you!
Yeah it’s already designed for iPhone as well - just waiting for our engineers to fit it in the roadmap https://www.dropbox.com/s/lwz72iktnrh20gi/Screenshot%202022-10-25%20at%2015.00.28.png?dl=0
Please also make sure that it will be working upside down as well. Currently, the main screen works upside down, but any change of setting (e. g. subdivisions, change of measure) only works in upright position, not upside down!
Hi, I have just tried to turn the iPad upside down and changing the subdivisions etc. works just fine. What kind of device are you using where you are experiencing this bug?
Hi, this is happening on an iPhone 8 Plus with iOS 16.1 installed. Attached four images: 01: iPhone normal portrait mode, hardware button at bottom, metronome screen / 02: same direction of iPhone, subdivision screen / 03: iPhone turned upside down, hardware button at top, metronome screen / 04: same direction of iPhone, subdivision screen.
Might be an issue with iPhone itself, I just discovered that the home screen is also not turning when putting the phone upside down.
🤔OK I see. I personally haven’t tested with a home button iPhone in a while since they are rare these days. Newer iPhones starting from iPhone X are no longer be able to be used upside down due to the camera notch. I will ask our developers to try out iPhone 8 upside down and see if there is any problem
Adding support for full rotation please when the iPhone is upside down. I sit my phone on my music stand and rotation would allow me to charge my phone while I leave the app open during practice.
