I see the new feature for the song duration in the compose menu which is great . We use the Brenner live and would be great to have it play a tune for 2 bars as a reminder then turn off. At moment you have to hit once to play and once to turn off be better on stage with to just hit play.
Hey, we are working on this :) But it’s going to take a while because we’ll have to update our server, our Android app and our iOS app all at the same time to make this change happen. Here’s an early design screenshot https://www.dropbox.com/s/pk6j6ycjcez7exx/Screen%20Shot%202022-06-19%20at%2009.01.23.png?dl=0 - you can see we plan to add multiple features at once such as song sections, notes, lyrics as well as the modifiers from the Metronome interface (including song duration)
That’s Great Florian thanks yes I imagine it will be quite a job given the three platforms. It will be a good one, I like the other features to be included as well.
“Dear Soundbrenner team,
I’ve just downloaded the new release 1.26.5 for Android which comes with the “song duration” feature I was waiting for since a long time. A great enhancement would be to use the song duration feature in combination with a setlist. This would allow me a as a drummer to use the metronome to count in each new song we play with our band during a concert. Please noteh that I don’t use a click/metronome over the entire song but just need some time keeping support in the beginning of each song we plan during a gig (e.g. the first 6 bars).
Thank you and best regards,
Peter”
This is a great suggestion.

I need only at the beginning from each song a few bars with a “Click”.
This works at the moment only in the Player-Mode.

You mean when saving a song in the library and then loading it into the player later, the feature to have a “Timer” is missing? This is true. We definitely want to add this at some point

Yes, exactly….. This would be great. I have to start many Songs with the guitar, to have the right BPM is very important 🤟🏽

Have set the song start to 2 bars and muted the lady counting in..yes that works fine but I want the metronome to to stop flashing after those 2 bars I set. Basically use the soundbreener core as a tempo count in only for each song in my setlist

Hi Crisco, this would work. Basically you could set the song duration to 2 bars only and you should be able to achieve your desired effect.

Thanks again but there is nowhere in the app settings where you can set song duration. Perhaps I need to update my app? Chris

Hi Chris, sorry to confuse you, this is a feature suggestion for the future. We are working on it and it doesn’t exist yet, so you are right that it’s not available in the app yet! Your support for us to develop this idea is well noted. We are working on it! :)

Hello Chris, yes and no. Development has not started but we have created some design mockups for how songs could look like in the updated library 2.0. We will launch this with several feature additions at once. You’ll notice one of them is called Modifier which will have the option to set the song duration. But this is still a work in progress on the design side! https://www.dropbox.com/s/x16y0owrna3umea/Screen%20Shot%202022-07-06%20at%2011.49.02.png?dl=0
